Overview

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on diagnostic evaluations.
- Provide direct support to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being during interventions.
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to encourage positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and family members, to coordinate care.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
- Educate clients and families about behavioral strategies and techniques to reinforce learning at home.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation, and record-keeping practices.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes related to behavioral health.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
