What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Aide position at Snake River Physical Therapy?
Seeking an individual who is personable, hard working, and engaging with patients and staff in an uplifting positive environment.
Primary Role: To assist in patient care as delegated by the therapist, clerical and administrative tasks, and cleaning and maintaining of the clinic.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assisting patients with exercise and modalities (Including heat packs, ice packs, electrical stimulation, ultrasound and laser) under the direct supervision of a physical therapist.
· Setup, clean, and maintain equipment and treatment areas.
· Cleaning common areas, such as bathrooms, lobby, floors, and break room.
· Clerical Work: Answering phones, greeting and scheduling patients, filing, copying and faxing, etc.
Must Haves:
· Ability to multi-task. Coordinate and manage patient exercise in a busy environment.
· Basic Foundation of exercise. Ability to properly demonstrate exercise techniques.
· Good communication skills.
· Willing to learn and be trained in both exercise and clerical duties.
· Background in anatomy and/or exercise science preferred.
· High school degree required.
· Prefer an individual interested in going into the medical field.
