Responsibilities
- Handle inbound phone calls and chat queues, assisting both English and Spanish-speaking customers.
- Provide support to agent partners and insureds regarding quotes, policy inquiries, changes, billing, and website assistance.
- Review policy applications and endorsements to ensure they align with SNAP’s approval guidelines.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills by clearly explaining complex insurance terms to customers with minimal industry knowledge.
- Resolve customer inquiries efficiently, displaying problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Maintain organization and focus while handling a high volume of customer interactions, always striving for quick and accurate solutions.
- This position does not involve selling policies or managing a team, and no Agent or Adjuster License is required.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- At least one year of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally with experience in policy inquiries, billing, or account management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively while maintaining organization.
- Excellent de-escalation skills, able to handle difficult or frustrated customers with professionalism and tact.
- Comfortable with CRM or policy management software (preferred but not required).
- Comfortable handling high volumes of customer interactions, including challenging calls.
- Ability to explain complex policies and terms to customers in a way that is clear and easy to understand.

Schedule & Pay:
- Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CST, with rotating Saturday shifts (9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CST).
- Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Job Type: Full-time, nonexempt.
