Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Finance Manager at Snap-tite Hose in Erie, PA. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, preparing budgets, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Essential functions
- Develop and oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to align with corporate objectives.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory standards.
- Manage cost account processes, including inventory valuation, production costs, and variance analysis to optimize financial performance.
- Oversee cash flow management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial risk assessment.
- Maintain internal controls and compliance with IRS regulations, The Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act requirements, and company policies.
- Lead and coordinate the annual audit process, working with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor financial performance metrics, identify trends, and provide recommendations for cost savings initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, including payroll and sales tax regulations.

- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
- Manage capital expenditure planning and evaluate investment opportunities to ensure sound financial decision making.
- Oversee financial systems and ERP/MRP platforms, driving automation and process improvements.
- Foster and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and external stakeholders.
- Support strategic decision making by providing executive leadership with financial insights and data driven recommendations.
- Mentor and develop finance team members to enhance department capabilities and career growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA or CFA certification is a plus
- Proficient in Excel, ERP/MRP systems, and financial modeling tools
- Financial analysis, Budgeting, and Compliance skills
- Experience in financial reporting and forecasting
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
