Full range is $4652- $7369 per month

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for the administrative operations, supervision, and success of SNAPs climate resiliency work, including community education and marketing, staff leadership, and grant submission or renewal to ensure compliance with requirements and effective use of funds.
This position is a member of the Housing Services leadership team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as the Resiliency Project Manager, responsible for the administrative operations of the EPA/Gonzaga university grant and the Washington State Department of Commerce HEAP grant. Serves as the primary point of contact for funders such as the Washington State Department of Commerce and Gonzaga University. Coordinates, with the Technical Services Coordinator, the production to align with funding levels, staffing and contractor availability. Assists accounting with the assignment of related expenses to appropriate funding sources, ensuring compliance with complex requirements. Assists accounting with the preparation of invoices to Gonzaga University and Commerce.. Responsible for the certification of intake files, ensuring they are in compliance with SNAP policies and procedures, and regulations from other authorities.
- Supervises the coordination of client outreach and intake activities. This supervision includes marketing, customer service and public relations efforts including client calls for information, responses to complaints, and monitoring of client waiting lists.
- Coordinates record keeping and project file flow. Certifies intake files, ensuring they are in compliance with SNAP policies and procedures and regulations from other authorities. Develops documents, maintains records, and completes reports as required.
- Assists with the planning, implementation, and quality control of multiple programs.
- Develops and monitors grant program budgets.
- Assigns expenses to ensure compliance with complex requirements established by funding sources. Allocates salaries and activities on timesheets to appropriate funding sources.
- Coordinates communication within Resiliency Project Team:
- Keeps staff informed of Agency information, such as events, policy/procedure changes, etc., on a timely basis.
- Knows policies and procedures, as well as regulations within which the Agency must work. Supports and ensures staff understanding and compliance.
- Coordinates programs and services with other SNAP programs.
- Selects, trains, supports, supervises, and evaluates assigned staff at the office.
- Ensures team members receive job-related orientation and training.
- Establishes clear expectations for performance, supports employee development, and holds employees accountable for their work performance, processes and results.
- Effectively establishes and manages inter-office partnerships (e.g., relationship building, problem solving, communicating, negotiating, etc.) to eliminate redundancies, work more efficiently, and achieve better results.
- Coordinates staffing assignments to ensure adequate coverage during others absences.
- Authorizes department purchase orders as needed.
- Represents interests of Resiliency Project, within and outside of the agency, on such things as community committees and boards, work groups, advisory committees, and with the media when authorized. Works to ensure coordination of services within SNAP.
- Assist the Core Director as coordinating liaison with utilities and other funding sources.
- Supports Agency education, promotion, and fundraising.
- Works with coworkers and volunteers to promote a positive, respectful, and productive working environment, while protecting client and coworker confidentiality.
- Within the context of the stated principal job duties, serve as an ambassador of SNAPs mission and values.
- Completes assigned projects and performs related duties as needed or situation dictates.
- Provides excellent customer service at all times as well as helps to grow the customer service culture within the agency.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience
- Required: Associates degree in business or related field and five (5) years of experience working in an administrative role in the construction or building trades industry or some combination of education and project management experience totaling seven (7) years.
- Preferred: Advanced degree and three years of experience, or 10 years full time work experience managing and providing services in related programs.

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with community members and local, state, and federal private and public organizations
- Valid drivers license, satisfactory driving record, insurance, and a personal vehicle for Agency business (mileage reimbursed)
Environment/Physical Activities:
- Work is primarily conducted in an office setting and sedentary. Incumbent may make visits to client homes and be exposed to dusty, wet, muddy, poorly ventilated and occasionally unsanitary environments. Some local and domestic travel may be required.
