Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - Permanent Hire

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide professional nursing direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families, and all care delivery team members.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to apply age-specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs.
• Support and interpret medical center philosophy, policy, and procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Directs and delegates care for other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.

Requirements:

• One year of recent Labor & Delivery experience or currently oriented, can provide care independently within the department.
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hire
• NRP within six months of hire or transfer date

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Specialty certification

Work Schedule:

Available to work AM/PM shifts, Part-Time and Full-Time positions available.

Competitive hourly rate: $47.40-$74.26 per hour.
