Position Summary
Summary :
The role of the Physician Assistant involves independent judgment and decision-making as well as consultation and collaboration with other members of the health care team in order to ensure premier quality patient care. The PA enhances the continuity of quality patient care while providing communication between the physician, patients, and the consulting health care teams. This position is critical in leading evidence-based care initiatives that will result in achieving optimal patient outcomes and improved patient satisfaction. The Physician Assistant provides direct diagnosis, therapeutic, and health care services under the direct supervision of the GI / Endoscopy Attending Physician.
