Job Description
Sales Floor Duties are as follows, but not limited to:
- Assist customers in locating product(s) by walking them to the items and helping with any questions or needs they might have. If needed, process special orders.
- Learn and be able to execute store services, such as; mixing paint, sending UPS packages, pool water testing, cutting glass, pipe, chain, wire and keys.
- Ensure all incoming merchandise shipments are stocked in its proper location and all overstock is put away in a timely manner.
- Help the team to keep the sales floor, receiving and back stock area organized, clean and fully stocked.
- Remove promotional bin tags from displays, and price tags as required following sales events, flyers etc.
Job responsibilities may change based on the needs of daily business operations and projects.
Physical Requirements
The minimum physical requirements for this position include:
- Ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time
- Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth
- Ability to work off a ladder at personal comfortable height
