Financial Planner
Snelling is seeking a motivated and experienced Financial Planning & Execution Professional in the Bessemer area! The Financial Planning & Execution professional serves as a strategic financial partner for the 4 business units. This position is critical in helping to guide the organization's financial success and growth.
Great hours with options for a hybrid schedule!
Competitive salary – $80,000-120,000 DOE!
Financial Planner include :
- Oversee and coordinate Balance Sheet and P&L Review as well as daily and monthly reporting.
- Provides accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting to leadership.
- Provides analytical support to Operations Leadership; both at the executive-level and senior leadership levels
- Assist Finance and Accounting with any assistance needed to complete month-end close, including solution variance analysis
- Completes daily profit and loss forecasting and analysis
- Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Recommends system and process improvement initiatives to streamline workflow and improve efficiencies
- Develops and curates’ large data sets needed to inform business decisions. Develops and provides context regarding the data needed to answer business questions. Combines internal and external data sources as needed.
- Builds databases and develops queries and calculations for financial reports.
- Collaborate with Business Unit Leaders to develop annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational plans.
- Monitor performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Develop customized dashboards and reporting tools to enhance visibility into operational performance.
- Work closely with Business Unit leaders to optimize inventory levels, minimize carrying costs, and ensure adequate inventory availability to meet customer demand.
- Create financial models to assess the impact of various supply chain scenarios assisting with the identification and allocation of supply chain costs to products / business units, helping to determine accurate product costs
- Collaborate with the business units to develop and monitor KPIs related to supply chain performance, such as order fulfillment rates, lead times, and inventory turnover

Location : Bessemer, AL
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
