Snelling is currently recruiting for a Sales Agent for a company that specializes in suppling high quality, branded industrial plastic sheet and ventilation pipe and fittings in the Birmingham area. The position is responsible for managing the actual relationships with the customers, identifying and attracting new prospects, and actively promoting the company’s products and services. This role involves a combination of sales, customer service and promotional skills, ensuring that customers receive a good quality service and that the company's commercial objectives are met. The basic salary for this opening is $50,000k plus commission.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensures that a strategy, route and resources are designed and managed for prospecting new customers in the market based on the market's sales goal and internal prospecting and sales procedure.
- Ensures that the attention, management and monitoring are given to the actual and future clients of the branch office.
- Ensures that all the queries and requests of the clients are responded to on time according to the procedure and politics of Plastic Fabric Solutions.
- Ensures that all the information, data and results of the total sales from the branch office are documented and registered on the platform and authorized systems by the company according to the internal procedures.
- Ensures that information on market trends, customer behavior and competitors is managed to document and inform the company's Export Sales team.
- Guarantee that the branch's team of collaborators remains updated and in continuous training regarding the functionality, quality standards and brand promise of each product in the Plastic Fabric Solutions catalog.
- Ensures continuous communication between the branch office team and the corporative departments of Plastic Fabric Solutions to identify continuous improvement opportunities and results of the market and internal communication.

Bachelor Degree or College studies
EXPERIENC E
5 years’ experience in the market
2 year experience in the logistics and transportation sector
At least 2 years of experience in sales, prospecting or promotion
VISUAL EFFORT
Physical effort to work to work in front of a monitor for 40% of the workday
PHYSICAL EFFORT
The position requires physical effort to walk for a couple of hours per day.
The position requires traveling by car an average of 10 days a month within a 200-mile radius of the branch for prospecting and sales.
