Position Title: Production, Machine/Equipment Operator

Location: Durant, Oklahoma

Job Duration: Temp to Hire

Pay Rates: up to $17.25hr

Shifts:
1st: 6am - 2:30pm, Mon-Fri // $16hr
2nd: 2pm - 10:30pm, Mon-Fri // $16.75hr
3rd: 10pm - 6:30am, Sun-Thurs // $17.25

Job Description:

• The Equipment Operator operates machinery to produce and ensures that the product is within the customer’s specifications while following company procedures.
• Use of computers to determine proper job sequence as well as for reporting production amounts, and time on the job.
• Load/unload material from the machines while constantly monitoring operation of machinery.
• Adjust production where needed according to work instructions and procedures.
• In process quality checks.
• Additional report generation might be required in this role.
• Ensure proper safety protocols are being abided by.
• Work closely with the Maintenance team to keep all machinery running properly.
• Participate in process improvement and maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned, such as helping train new operators

Qualifications / Skills Required:

• HS diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience as an equipment operator in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
• Previous experience in stainless steel tubing industry is not mandatory, but a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to allow for understanding work instructions
• Proficient in the use of measurement devices including tape measures and micrometers.

Physical Demands:

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand/walk for full 8-hour shift.
• Able to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility
