Logistics Specialist Export
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team in Inver Grove Heights. As an Ocean Export Agent, you will play a crucial role in the global transportation of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare export shipments and distribute international export documents
- Coordinate with trucking companies, steamship lines, and warehouses to process shipments efficiently
- Filing and data entry for freight bills and invoices
- Collect unpaid invoices within credit terms
- Provide general business support and tracking/tracing shipments
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in Freight/Transportation/Trucking industry
- Strong technical skills in Excel, SAP, and AS400 (a plus)
- Knowledge of AES filings, tracking, and tracing shipments in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor's degree (a plus), High School/GED required
