Account Manager
Account Managers are responsible for overseeing and expanding business relationships with assigned accounts in a specific market territory. They serve as client advocates, ensuring client needs are understood and addressed while meeting business sales objectives.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in assigned accounts.
- Position the company as the preferred supplier by understanding customer needs and delivering customized solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic Account Development Plans (ADPs), sales forecasts, and budgets for key accounts, with measurable growth objectives.
- Handle customer projects and sample requests, ensuring quality and alignment with growth targets and company goals.
- Retain and expand existing business by identifying opportunities and introducing additional products or services to customers.
- Negotiate pricing agreements within established guidelines and manage account-specific credit, pricing, rebates, and terms.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams, including R&D, Customer Service, Marketing, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless project execution and order fulfillment.
- Provide management with regular reports on account performance, market dynamics, and customer insights.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
This is a home-based position within the assigned sales territory and reports directly to the National Sales Manager.
