SNI Financial is partnered with a prestigious financial services firm that is hiring a Senior Accountant for their Naperville, IL office.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in a variety of accounting activities related to the financial statement close process
- Review of revenues and operating expenses
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual entries & reconciliation
- Support internal & external audits by providing necessary documentation
- Create streamlined processes to enhance efficiency within the accounting department
- Develop reports for senior leadership
- Support forecasting and budgeting by providing detailed analysis
- Participate in special projects assigned by leadership
Qualifications:
- 2 years of accounting experience either in a corporate or public accounting setting
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA license
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting required
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to commute to the office 5 days/week
