We are currently seeking a team member who believes in the extra mile philosophy to fulfill our Accounts Payable Manager role. The AP Manager oversees the AP department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all vendor invoices, is responsible for ensuring vendor statements are complete and accurate, and provides leadership to the AP department.

Responsibilities:
- Adheres to all policies, procedures, and values of Snider Fleet Solutions
- Train, develop, motivate, evaluate and lead the AP team
- Build and maintain relationships with AP team
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of AP vendor invoices.
- Ensure that all daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly deadlines are met
- Oversee month end AP accruals
- Facilitate the achievement of department objectives and
- Monitor that all vendor statements are received and completed
- Maintain the accuracy and validity of the AP Vendor file
- Admin for AP automation systems
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors to resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with Snider branch employees to resolve vendor and AP staff issues
- Oversee 1099 compliance.
Education or Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related fields and or equivalent work experience
- Extensive knowledge of Accounting and Accounts Payable procedures
- 5-7 years of progressive management experience, demonstrating increased responsibility and leadership growth
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills
- Superior customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Extremely reliable, dependable, self sufficient, and sensitive to confidential matters
- Ability to establish and maintain efficient AP workflows, including invoice processing, approval workflows, and payment scheduling
- Proactive identification and resolution of potential issues within the AP process
- Expertise in utilizing AP software and automation tools to streamline processes
- Ability to understand and meet month-end, quarter-end, and year-end deadlines
- Ability to learn quickly, take on new responsibilities, and work effectively under pressure
- Ability to lead and motive an AP team, providing clear direction and support for training and staff development
- Effective delegation of tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient workload distribution
- Analytical skills, including research, interpreting data, and analyzing information
- Ability to analyze processes for improvements and to streamline operations
- Excellent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and the ability to learn and operate other software (AS400, SAP, BTN, etc.)
- Ability to use all necessary office equipment
- Strong advanced math and Excel skills with proficiency in 10-Key operation
This position is based at the companys corporate office. The majority of this position will consist of normal office tasks and interaction amongst peers and Snider branches.
