Overview: As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for supporting operations pertaining to the overall facilities management of our US stores and offices. Managing day-to-day repairs, maintenance, and small projects, as well as managing national and/or local contracted vendors. The Facilities Manager will also be responsible for submitting and following up on daily repair requests and controlling budgets for all services related to store maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Manage the US retail stores. This will involve managing repair and maintenance work orders via the service portal and identifying solutions to solve issues
- Supervise all aspects of store facilities and support the needs of stores
- Communicate to the stores and provide work order updates as needed to ensure that the issues are corrected, and work orders are closed in a timely manner
- Act as primary liaison for all facilities issues with representatives from multiple brands and departments.
- Troubleshoot repairs and services with store personnel and vendors.
- Ensure that SNIPE’s quality standards are met on all projects.
- Communicate weekly updates to supervisor and stores on general repairs and items.
- Track all costs and control budgetary spending for services and repairs.
- Responsible for coordinating remedial work for store emergencies
- Communicate and interface with various Landlords
Qualifications/Skills
- 3 years of experience in facilities management experience
- Ability to learn and implement the Snipes service portal
- Experience managing multiple locations and teams
- Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Client relations and customer service oriented
- The capacity to interact with all levels of management and to serve as a primary liaison with store personnel and other departments on behalf of facilities.
- Must be a team player; customer service oriented; polite, courteous, and professional.
- Must possess a general knowledge of standard services provided to the store (i.e.: plumbing, HVAC, electric, etc.).
- Must possess strong communication and supervisory skills necessary to manage multiple vendors and trades.
- General knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, power point)
