PURPOSE
As the Assistant Housekeeping & Laundry Manager at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel, you will assist in leading the Housekeeping & Laundry departments, ensuring operational efficiency and the highest levels of cleanliness. This position plays a key role in managing team members, maintaining inventory, and enhancing guest satisfaction by supporting the Executive Housekeeping Manager in all aspects of department management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Operational Management: Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments. Help implement policies and procedures that ensure quality service and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
- Team Supervision: Aid in the management of housekeeping and laundry team members, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Ensure team member compliance with internal standards and procedures.
- Inventory and Supply Management: Help manage inventory control of cleaning and laundry supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance of housekeeping equipment.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Assist in conducting regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness. Support adherence to safety and hygiene regulations.
- Guest Interaction: Handle guest issues related to housekeeping and laundry services, ensuring swift resolution and high guest satisfaction.
- Administrative Duties: Assist in administrative tasks such as preparing reports, budget monitoring, and team member records management.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate and supervise special cleaning projects, ensuring timely completion according to standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Four (4) years of experience in hotel housekeeping operations.
- Two (2) years of experience leading others in a supervisory or manager role.
- Knowledge of cleaning and laundry equipment and supplies.
- Strong understanding of safety and hygiene standards.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proactive Leadership: Ability to assist and sometimes lead a team under the guidance of the manager, showing initiative and motivation.
- Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail necessary for overseeing housekeeping and laundry operations.

PREFERRED
Education and Experience:
- Experience in laundry operations.
- Experience working in an integrated Casino Hotel and/or a Forbes or AAA rated property.
Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
