What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Member - Volunteer position at Snow City Arts?
Snow City Arts is a small organization with big impact. We recently celebrated our 25th Anniversary and we are currently engaged in building our next Strategic Plan. We seek candidates for our Board who are passionate about the arts, health, and education. We'd love to work with you to lead the organization into the next 25 years.
We are currently seeking candidates with the following traits and skill sets:
- Passion for the mission and interest and ability to serve as an advocate and ambassador for Snow City Arts.
- Proven experience in the following fields: finance, education, human resources, and law.
- Willingness to leverage personal and professional networks that create new opportunities for increasing the organization’s visibility, partnerships, and donor base.
- Orientation toward honesty, sensitivity to and tolerance of differing views, a friendly and responsive approach, community-building skills, personal integrity, a developed sense of value, concern for Snow City Arts’ development, and a sense of humor.
- Engagement in Snow City Arts’ commitment to generating an environment centered on learning, equity, and inclusivity.
