As a Nurse Scheduler & Central Supply Coordinator , you will play a vital role in ensuring optimal staffing for quality patient care while managing essential medical supplies to support our team.

Key Responsibilities

Nurse Scheduling Duties :

Develop and maintain nursing staff schedules , ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.

Coordinate shift coverage in cases of call-outs, vacations, and staffing shortages.

Work closely with department heads to ensure staffing meets facility and regulatory requirements .

Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, time-off requests, and compliance with scheduling policies.

Communicate scheduling updates and changes to nursing staff in a timely manner.

Central Supply Duties :

Oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory management of medical supplies and equipment.

Ensure par levels are maintained and prevent supply shortages.

Track and distribute supplies as needed while maintaining proper documentation.

Conduct regular audits of supply usage and implement cost-effective ordering strategies.

Ensure compliance with infection control and safety regulations related to medical supplies.

Qualifications

Previous experience in scheduling and / or supply management in a healthcare setting preferred.

Knowledge of nursing schedules, shift management, and labor laws .

Experience with inventory control, purchasing, and vendor coordination is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software .

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills .

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with nursing staff and administration.
