Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging Christian lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages children to explore, learn, and express themselves.
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to guide children's social interactions and emotional development.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children in the program.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education, including first aid procedures and special education strategies.
Experience
- Previous experience in child care or early childhood education is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential.
- Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, daycare operations, and babysitting practices is advantageous.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
- Must be able to pass a background check.

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
