Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while accurately processing transactions. You will also assist in the dietary department, ensuring that food safety standards are met and contributing to meal preparation in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries and purchases.
- Accurately process cash and credit transactions at the register.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and daily specials to effectively communicate with customers.
- Assist in the dietary department by ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Support food preparation tasks, including meal assembly and presentation, while adhering to culinary standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and dining space.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or fine dining setting.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food preparation processes and knife skills is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers.
