Accountant – Your Passion, Our Mission
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team at Snowline Health.
Position Summary
As an Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and reporting. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, preparing month-end journal entries, and analyzing statistical and financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of medical billing, collaborating with the patient care team to ensure accuracy.
- Work closely with the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team on billing and collection processes.
- Maintain payor rates, general ledger coding, and charge structures in the billing system.
- Perform accounts receivable closing and generate month-end aging reports.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support all departments with financial-related inquiries.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and clear communication.
- Ensure compliance with safety and HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by the CFO.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).
- Strong background in budget preparation, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and revenue cycle management.
- Experience managing billing & collections (healthcare experience is a plus).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
