What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Technician - Structures position at Snyder & Associates?
Overview
The Snyder & Associates structural subsidiary, Shuck-Britson, has an immediate need for a CAD Design tehcnician. Will be responsible for development of vertical and bridge structure design plans using MicroStation, Revit and AutoCAD software.
Responsibilities
Timely and accurate execution of design specification renderings to be used in support of bridge and vertical structure engineering projects.
Perform project design activities using current software platforms.
Work closely with engineers and other Techs on assigned projects
Adhere to all company policies and practices per the Personnel Manual
Regular attendance required.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience as a CAD Technician
Experience using MicroStation or AutoCAD, preferably in a structural application
Experience using or education in Revit is a big plus
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Commitment to producing work efficiently and accurately to meet the needs of the project manager, the client and project requirements.
Demonstrated ability in contributing both as an individual and team member
Able to meet client service demands and project deadlines; must be willing to work extended hours as needed.
