Diesel Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on a variety of vehicles and equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about mechanics and dedicated to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Repair and maintain farm machinery, cranes, and HVAC systems as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proficient in equipment repair and vehicle maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and their proper usage.
• Experience with automotive repair, including electrical systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and their maintenance.
• Ability to work on other heavy machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn new techniques.
• Knowledge of Mack, Cummins and Caterpillar engines.
• Experience in after treatment systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
