The Snyder County District Attorney’s Office is seeking a full-time Assistant District Attorney to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to serve the community by prosecuting criminal cases, assisting with legal research, and supporting the District Attorney in all aspects of the office's operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prosecute criminal cases in court
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to law enforcement
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
- Assist with case preparation and trial preparation
- Handle a variety of legal tasks as assigned by the District Attorney
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Pennsylvania Bar admission (or eligibility for admission)
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Commitment to public service and the pursuit of justice
- Prior experience in criminal law is a plus but not required
