Job Summary
Top law firm in Arizona looking for a litigation paralegal. The firm has been around for several decades and handles some of the largest personal injury and medical malpractice cases in the state.
Duties
- Manage case files
- Interview clients
- Interview potential clients
- Research defendants and experts
- Draft pleadings
- Review and summarize medical records, depositions, and other relevant documents.
- Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy and litigation processes.
- Manage deadlines for filings and ensure compliance with court rules.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of personal injury or medical malpractice litigation is required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a legal setting is preferred
- Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within litigation
- Strong knowledge of personal injury law
- Proficiency in legal research methodologies and tools such as Lexis-Nexis.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
- Strong interviewing skills with an emphasis on client interaction.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
