Responsibilities :

Conduct daily patient visits to assist with menu selections, adhering to established scripting and addressing any patient concerns or complaints.

Proficiently utilize automated diet office systems (EPIC / CBORD, Room Service Choice) to manage meals, process orders, and generate necessary reports.

Perform daily checks of the tray line to ensure menu accuracy and the quality of food being served to patients.

Correct patient menus as needed, taking into account diet orders, allergies, and any patient-specific accommodations.

Prepare meal tickets for the serving area, ensuring accuracy and highlighting any special instructions.

Effectively utilize various technologies, including Outlook, Epic, CBORD, My Time, and Health Stream.

Actively participate in continuous learning initiatives and complete all mandatory education within designated timeframes.

Conduct regular Service & Safety monitors to ensure compliance with departmental guidelines and standards of care.

Contribute to the department's overall goal of delivering high-quality services in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Adhere to all food service handling standards for safety and personal hygiene.

Required Skills :

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with automated diet office systems (preferred).

Solid understanding of therapeutic diets and nutritional requirements.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Strong commitment to patient satisfaction and delivering high-quality care.
