We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent negotiation skills, and proficiency in industry-standard software.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop budgets and timelines.
- Utilize software tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for estimating and project management tasks.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
- Monitor ongoing projects to ensure adherence to budgets and timelines, implementing cost control measures as necessary.
- Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid proposals and presenting estimates to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to each project.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and practices.
- Proficiency in construction management software, particularly HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies within the construction industry.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed decisions based on financial implications.
