What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Outreach Coordinator position at SOAR(Strengthening Outcomes with Autism Resources)?
SOAR (Strengthening Outcomes with Autism Resources) is a parent created non-profit organization providing resources, events,therapy, and guidance to families with Autism from diagnosis through the lifespan.
Outreach Coodinator responsibilities:
- Plan, arrange and attend weekend community events(approximately every other month), as well as promote all community functions on social media and our website. (Experience is required).
- Plan, arrange and attend monthly adult socials.
- Build relationships with community businesses for adult employment, donations, and networking.
- Write grants
- Create flyers on Canva/Postermywall
- Experience with google drive, word and excel is required.
Must be able to work independently with excellent communication and organization skills.
Parent, guardian or relative to someone with autism preferred, but not required.
Position is 10-15 hours per week. (minimum one day a week in the office)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
