A Day in the Life of:
As a member of our Summer Camp team, you will provide supervision and instruction to campers enrolled in the summer camp or other seasonal camp programs at SOAR365. You will be responsible for leading and directing cabin counselors in the provision of safe, enjoyable, and interesting experiences for the campers at Camp Baker. Your people skills will come in handy and will help you to maintain fantastic professional relationships with your fellow team members and those that we serve.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Leads and directs cabin counselors in the provision of safe, enjoyable, and interesting experiences for the campers at Camp Baker.
- Supervises and assists campers during scheduled program activities, assuring opportunities for each camper to be involved
- Develops and implements activities for unscheduled camper time.
- Monitors to assure appropriate use of camp facilities and equipment by both counselors and campers; schedules counselors for repair and clean-up duties as needed.
- Documents camper participation and response to camp activities and the camp experience generally.
- Attends all required staff meetings and training sessions, including a staff orientation program before the start of camp.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of college preferred but not required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in the areas of special education, psychology, recreation, therapy preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of programs/activities in camp environment preferred.
- Ability to organize and implement activities and lead staff in their implementation.
