Job responsibilities:
- Work with the Director of Business Development to create and implement business development programs that align with organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate account details and track referral/admission statistics, preparing comprehensive business development reports and materials.
- Identify and build relationships with new account prospects, targeting strategies to increase business in competitive markets.
- Strengthen connections with key referral sources, including physicians, social workers, and discharge planners, to expand the referral network.
- Develop and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with key referral sources, ensuring consistent engagement and support for designated contacts as outlined in a quarterly marketing plan.
- Organize and conduct community workshops, seminars, and facility tours to educate clients, families, and referral sources about the facility’s services and programs.
- Represent the facility at local civic and professional events, promoting the facility’s mission and fostering a positive image within the community.
- Manage leads from referral sources and ensure a smooth, efficient admissions process in collaboration with the Admissions Department.
- Work closely with physicians, and facility management to generate new referral sources and enhance overall service delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments through ongoing professional education, community involvement, and peer interaction.
- Attend department meetings and provide timely updates on business development progress, client servicing schedules, and monthly reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in human services, behavioral health, communications, business or marketing) required, Master’s Degree preferred.
- Knowledge of recovery, and substance use disorders
- Background in social services and/or non-profits strongly preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be passionate about the organizations mission aiding those seeking recovery
- Must be reliable and dependable and demonstrate initiative in performing work
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher) as well as Outlook Mail, Calendar and Contacts functions
- Multi-tasker, quick-learner, self-starter
