Role Description:
We are looking for a IT Project Manager to collaborate with a hyper-scale data center company. This person will oversee all integration and fit-out activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, and facilitate meetings, contractor guidance, and quality cost schedule responsibilities.
- Follow up on punch list/checklist items.
- Responsible for the project management of all integration and fit-out activities associated with company-owned systems and/or services and critical infrastructure that is required to be installed into a new Data center build or lease facility to deliver capacity to the business.
- Responsible for the coordination of the handover process and ensuring the required handover documentation and expectations are met to hand over the space to our Operations teams and the business.
- Required identification and management of scopes and interdependencies between all external and internal stakeholders, and coordinating same with the physical construction build, and General Contractor.
- Additional duties as assigned
- 5 years of project management experience (construction system integration)
- Requires strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Telecommunication background preferred.
- Must be a strong project manager with the ability to self-direct.
- Strong background in data center construction, with an emphasis on telecoms.
- Project/construction management is required.
