Summary
The Talent Acquisition Manager oversees Soboba Casino Resorts (SCR) entire recruitment process from sourcing to offer and onboarding. Determines current staffing needs, produces recruitment forecast, and leads employment branding initiatives.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Partners with department leaders to mitigate staffing concerns and provides proactive and responsive solutions as needed.
- Manages staffing process from recruiting through on-boarding including design and implementation of processes; identify, arrange, and attend special recruiting events or host recruiting events.
- Reviews all SCR job descriptions and audits.
- Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and executes innovative recruiting strategies to find qualified candidates.
- Assists Training and Development with creation of job specific road maps.
- Develop and release job posting on a variety of platforms, such as HRIS, social media, and job boards.
- Creates reports and analyze data regarding key performance indicators (time to hire, time to clear backgrounds, cost to hire, and make recommendations for improvement.)
- Assist with accurate processing of team member data in various databases and processing systems for internal transfers.
- Build and maintain strong professional and collaborative relationships with department leaders, team members, HR colleagues, and vendors to provide excellent service in all interactions.
- Review, audit, and communicate with department leaders regarding candidate status.
- Review and determine salary range placement for the job position that is offered to external and internal candidates and ensure salary is in alignment with SCR compensation administration practices.
- Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Hire, train, coach and supervise staffing team (Recruiter, Staffing Specialist)
- Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward.
- Monitoring and assessing service and satisfaction trends, evaluating and addressing issues, and making improvements accordingly.
- Ensuring a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in team members.
Education / Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age, or older.
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, or related field required.
- Two (2) years of experience in a Talent Acquisition Management role , or five (5) plus years of experience working in a Staffing Specialist or Recruitment role, required.
- Intermediate knowledge of and expertise in the operation of general office equipment including personal computer and Microsoft application such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook, required.
- Must be able to assess learning capabilities, develop training strategies, track desired training objectives and results.
- Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.
Certificates, licenses and registration
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP certification a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
- Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
Salary Details
- Full-Time Position
- Salary Range $ 74,800- $93,500 is dependent on candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
