What are the responsibilities and job description for the Glassware/Autoclave Assistant Supervisor position at SoBran Inc.?
The Glassware/Autoclave Assistant Supervisor will be responsible for daily preparation and execution of all activities regarding autoclave service requirement in support of client’s program in Atlanta, GA.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with the day-to-day supervision of glassware and autoclave technicians, including oversight of stockroom and laundry duties for the client’s sites.
- Ensure scheduled assignments and all tasks are completed as directed by the supervisor and project management.
- Ensure all company and client policies and SOPs are followed.
- Assist with training new glassware and autoclave technicians.
- Provide performance input on supervised employees.
- Performs QC checks as required.
- Assure documentation/printouts are maintained for all machines.
- QA environmental monitoring on glassware and autoclave equipment and maintain appropriate logs.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all contract and client staff.
- Perform duties in adherence with established SOPs.
- Back up to the glassware/autoclave supervisor as required.
- Perform all duties of subordinate personnel as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have supervisory experience in a warehouse setting
- Preferred experience in a laboratory setting
- Must be able to maintain written and computer-based logs.
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.; bend, push, pull, stoop, climb and stand for a prolonged period.
