This position consists of Admissions Coordinator and Receptionist
This person will work directly with the Galax and Bassett Admissions team
As an Admissions Coordinator at Sobrius, a leading Virginia addiction treatment center, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the intake process for individuals seeking recovery from addiction. You will be part of a dedicated team that provides individualized care and support to empower clients on their journey to wellness and sobriety. You will answer the phone on the weekends and route the calls when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the admissions process for new clients, including gathering necessary medical records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize medical terminology and Alleva software to accurately input client information and schedule appointments.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations.
- Conduct patient service duties such as answering inquiries, assisting with forms, and maintaining confidentiality in all interactions.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth transitions for clients entering the treatment program.
- Assist in office tasks related to admissions, such as verifying insurance coverage and processing payments.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a receptionist, medical receptionist, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using Alleva software and familiarity with medical scheduling systems.
- Strong knowledge of office procedures, including handling phone systems and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Understanding of medical records management and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
