Job Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Youth Soccer Coach to work with players aged 7-14 in a brand new, state-of-the-art indoor soccer facility. The coach will assist with small group training sessions (1:6 coach to player ratio) designed to develop fundamental soccer techniques, foster a love for the game, and help players improve their skills in a focused and supportive environment. This role is perfect for coaches who enjoy working with youth soccer players, want to gain coaching experience, and are committed to developing the next generation of soccer players.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing age-appropriate soccer training sessions focusing on technical skill development (e.g., dribbling, passing, shooting, ball mastery).
- Foster a positive and engaging environment that builds confidence and encourages player growth.
- Provide individualized feedback and coaching tailored to each player’s abilities.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive space, ensuring players are engaged and having fun.
- Communicate effectively with players, lead coaches, and facility management.
- Monitor and assess player progress, offering constructive feedback and encouragement.
- Uphold facility guidelines and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience playing soccer at a competitive level.
- Prior experience coaching soccer, preferred but not required.
- Understanding of soccer fundamentals and techniques.
- Ability to work with players across a range of ages and skill levels.
- Ability to follow soccer development curriculum.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about soccer and helping young players improve.
Schedule & Environment:
- Flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends, based on session scheduling.
- Prime facility hours are Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
- Work within an indoor soccer facility equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate ($18-$30/hour), commensurate with experience and qualifications.
