Coaching Coordinator

Soccer Shots is seeking a scrappy individual that loves to provide cadence and consistency while executing our vision to join our team as a Coaching Coordinator. Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program focused on character development and fun for children ages 2–10. Position Overview

The Coaching Coordinator is a dynamic role that blends coaching with operational, administrative, and partner relationship responsibilities to support the growth and success of Soccer Shots programs. This role involves recruiting and developing coaching staff, strengthening partnerships, supporting marketing & operational initiatives, and ensuring exceptional program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Coaching:
• Deliver 15-25 high-energy, engaging soccer sessions per week across 10–12 location blocks, following the Soccer Shots curriculum.
• Build meaningful connections with children.
• Adapt coaching strategies to meet the developmental needs of diverse age groups and abilities.
• Serve as a positive role model, consistently demonstrating Soccer Shots’ core values on and off the field.
• Recruitment & Hiring:
• Support the recruitment of qualified coaches to meet seasonal staffing goals in Memphis & Little Rock/Jonesboro.
• Assist with the full hiring process, including screening applications, conducting interviews, onboarding, and training.
• Develop creative strategies to attract top coaching talent.
• Represent Soccer Shots at job fairs and local recruitment events.
• Coach Development & Support:
• Provide ongoing mentorship, performance evaluations, and constructive feedback to coaching staff.
• Assist with creating and managing coaching schedules to ensure program coverage.
• Support the coaching team through the management of the coaching phone line.
• Conduct one-on-one coaching check-ins to maintain high coaching standards.
• Facilitate smooth transitions for new coaches through introductions and on-site support.
• Partner Services & Marketing:
• Maintain strong relationships with current partners through regular check-ins and feedback.
• Distribute marketing materials such as flyers, postcards, yard signs to promote Soccer Shots programs all over the areas we serve.
• Represent Soccer Shots at partner locations and community events to promote upcoming seasons.
• Create and manage engaging content across all social media platforms.
• Monitor social media channels and respond to messages.
• Operational & Administrative Support:
• Maintain accurate records related to coaching, hiring, and program operations.
• Provide cross-departmental assistance to our Operations Team as needed to support organizational goals.
• Assist with weekly distribution for Coaching Team.
• Equipment and Uniform management.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary between $36,000 - $37,000 annually (Paid Weekly)
• 10 Paid Time Off days (eligible after 90 days).
• $150 monthly gas stipend ($1,800 annually)
• Health insurance (50% of premium covered after 90 days).

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Greater Memphis area (We serve at locations from Tipton to Hernando)
• Preferred experience in coaching, marketing, or partnership development.
• Strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills.
