Now, we’re looking for a driven, self-motivated Business Development Representative to help us expand our client family!

 

About the Role:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying, approaching, and securing new client relationships. You’ll be the first face (and voice) of Social Swells, confidently introducing our services to potential clients — both in person and through digital channels.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential businesses that align with Social Swells' ideal client profile.
  • Approach potential clients via in-person visits (door-to-door introductions), phone, Instagram DM, email, and other outreach platforms.
  • Confidently pitch Social Swells' value using our proven Value Pitching Method.
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery calls between leads and our agency team.
  • Follow up with prospects consistently to maintain engagement and drive conversions.
  • Assist in the early stages of client onboarding to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Log all outreach, follow-ups, and notes in an organized manner for team review.

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • Confident, self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Naturally persuasive and relationship-focused, not “salesy.”
  • Comfortable with in-person introductions and digital outreach.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and basic marketing terms is a plus.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in following up.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools is a bonus but not required.

 

Compensation:

  • Commission-Based — uncapped earning potential.
  • You’ll earn a competitive commission for every new client contract you help secure, with the opportunity for bonuses as your client portfolio grows.
