Social Vocational Services (SVS) has been serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout California since 1977.
The Position:
We are looking for a Program Director at at our Fresno Bullard program office. Job duties include:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a licensed day program
- Interface with care providers/family/regulatory authorities/Regional Center/schools
- Act as a program advocate to market the client services to individuals, counselors, families and the community-at-large
- Increase the number of clients served in the program
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff
- Submit accurate and timely Client billing, Client payroll, and Personnel documents
- Screen, select, complete admission procedures and program assignment of clients
- Oversee client assessment and INSP development and implementation
- Communicate effectively with other service providers and funding agency personnel
- Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance Standards and CARF requirements
- Monitor program expenditures
- May be required to provide direct service to consumers
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Solid background working in a day program setting
- Two years management experience
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Solid staff supervisory experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must obtain DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance
- Must pass post-job offer job-related physical exam including TB test and drug screen
