Responsibilities
The Global Trade & Payment Services group includes 3 business lines : Trade Services (TRA), Payments & Cash Management (PCM) & Correspondent Banking (BAN). Each business line has a Front-, Middle-, and Back-Office team. GTPS / BAN USD New York is the business line responsible for providing correspondent banking services in USD currency within SG Group. It provides cash clearing services primarily to SG entities, and a few select third party clients for non-foreign correspondent banking operations, which are limited and monitored closely in coordination with Compliance and KYC. GTPS / BAN focuses on the payment volume of SG Group clients and conducts a selective volume increase in a controlled way. As such, the department maintains a portfolio of financial institution customers who have opened one or several Demand Deposit Account(s) (DDA).
The V.I.E. Junior Relationship Manager will have the responsibilities centered on 2 main pillars :
I. Sales & Relationship Management :
- Proactively handle daily client inquiries from client and liaise with Client Service Team for action as necessary (investigation escalation, transaction status request, audit confirmation...)
- Coordinate account opening process : gather KYC documentation ; submit account application ; draft account opening form for Client Service Team
- Draft client agreements related to pricing schedule update
- Prepare memo as needed to process any client related update in our systems and perform final verification of change accuracy in the system
- Manage overdraft limit new requests and periodic renewal according to existing policies and ensure timely update in GTB system
- Support Correspondent Banking Management on all aspects of clearing services and optimization / automation projects conducted with Client Service Team and other internal departments
- Conduct periodic service reviews with assigned clients to gain more insight on client's flows / business and address any potential pain point
- Support pipeline development for USD deposits
II. Governance & Controls :
Due to the VIE eligibility criteria a questionnaire will be provided. Please make sure to answer all the questions for an efficient analysis of your application.
Please note that for the missions outside the European countries, a VISA is necessary. Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure. Otherwise, we strongly advise you to launch asap the renewal of your passport.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in New York is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
