  • Faculty mentorship committee for career advancement and balancing work/life responsibilities.
  • Competitive start-up package and dedicated lab space tailored to the successful applicant's needs.
  • ACT core facilities for biomarkers, molecular biology, pathology, histochemistry, and imaging. Department of Neural Sciences and LKSOM shared facilities for RNAseq, confocal microscopy, live cell imaging, FACS sorting, proteomic and lipidomic cores, and others.

Candidate Qualifications: candidates should have an established research program; independent or pathway to independence funding from NIH and/or private foundations in these areas are highly preferred. Successful candidates should have a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree and a strong academic record in the biology of neurodegenerative diseases or neuroscience with an emphasis on Alzheimer's and related neurodegenerative diseases.
