Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and financial acumen. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Processing of accounts payables.
- Printing of checks.
- Entering standard monthly journal entries for bank accounts, investments and local transfers.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state income tax returns.
- Assist and provide back up to the Accountant and Bookkeeper as needed.
- Responsible for reviewing the gas card statements.
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and records.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry.
- Excellent math skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights as needed.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
