What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Associate Supervisor position at SodaStream?
Responsible for managing the entire receivables aging portfolio, generally ranging from $30M to $45M, including accounts with major retailers such as Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, Albertsons, and Wakefern. This role involves coordinating with the credit analyst on new account setups, credit checks, and providing support in managing their day-to-day responsibilities. Additionally, the position includes leading and mentoring two direct reports to foster their growth and professional development.
A key aspect of this role is building strong relationships and influencing cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, to ensure the timely resolution of disputes and reconciliation of past-due balances. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to lead by example, and the capacity to align stakeholders who may not report directly to you toward common goals.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Manage high-volume key account balances, fostering positive client relationships and ensuring timely invoice payments.
Review aging reports, address delinquencies promptly, and collaborate with Inside and Outside Sales teams to resolve disputes efficiently.
Take ownership of all accounts on aging, including oversight of disputes initially handled by the AR Dispute Management team.
Perform account reconciliations and prepare reports using Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
Monitor accounts on credit hold to ensure smooth order processing.Demonstrate leadership and influence skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams not under direct supervision.
Lead your team independently with integrity, accountability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Analyze data, research issues, and resolve problems, escalating to Assistant Controller when necessary.
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
3 years of Accounts Receivable/Collection experience handling Retail/Grocery accounts preferred
Management experience preferred.
Proven expertise in resolving and reducing deductions.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Experience with NetSuite preferred
Experience with High Radius or new system implementations a plus but not required.
Familiarity with EDI
Proven ability to multitask, work independently, and effectively research and resolve complex issues.
Moderate Excel experience required.
