About Hollywood Park

Hollywood Park, a near 300-acre sports and entertainment destination, is being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke with the 70,000-seat SoFi Stadium as its centerpiece. Hollywood Park is the largest urban mixed-use mega development under construction in the Western United States. When complete, Hollywood Park will have up to 2,500 residences, a hotel, a retail district reaching up to 890,000 square feet, up to 5 million square feet of office space, and more than 25-acres of public parks and open space.

Home to the Los Angeles Chargers and Super Bowl LVI Champion Los Angeles Rams, SoFi Stadium is the host of world-renowned sporting events, including Super Bowl LVI in 2022, College Football Playoff National Championship game 2023, WrestleMania 2023, World Cup 2026, and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympics in 2028. Adjacent to the stadium and under the same roof canopy is a 2.5-acre open-air plaza, American Airlines Plaza, and the 6,000-seat YouTube Theater. YouTube Theater is an intimate venue, making it the perfect place for concerts, comedy, awards shows, esports competitions, community gatherings, conferences and more.

As the Manager, Publicity, You Will..

This key position within the Publicity department will lead public relations efforts, collaborating closely with teams across the organization, including social media, marketing, programming, and community relations. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional media relations skills, outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, and proven public relations management experience. A results-oriented, self-motivated individual with a meticulous eye for detail, the successful candidate will thrive in our fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing multiple projects with ease and contributing significantly to the team's success.

More Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To…

  • Work with the Publicity team to assist with the day-to-day management of media inquiries and press for non-NFL events across Hollywood Park
  • Serve as the main PR contact for YouTube Theater events
  • Coordinate with tours, promoters, and publicists to oversee on-site media operations and remote publicity efforts including interviews, content shoots, and photo/video needs
  • Manage photo archives and data asset management
  • Draft press releases, coverage reports, event schedules, briefs and more
  • Develop strategic PR campaigns for venues and provide creative, out-of-the-box thinking to contribute to a steady cadence of media coverage
  • Oversee gifting program for select events and assist with fan and artist activations
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media and influencers across sports & entertainment
  • Contribute to pitch development, media outreach, and interview coordination
  • Liaise with senior staff to ensure messaging is consistent across materials and projects
  • Create and track calendars for awards, speaking opportunities, and more
  • Coordinate/execute film shoots and facilitate venue partner requests

We’d Love to Hear From People With….

  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience preferably with music, sports or venue background. A plus if you have both in-house and agency experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field
  • Excellent oral, written, and visual communication skills, including superior editing and proofreading abilities in AP Style
  • Strong media contacts including journalists across sports and entertainment, both in the Los Angeles market and nationally
  • Proven track record of securing media coverage and leading PR campaigns
  • Ability to handle a high volume of daily correspondence/requests with various departments
  • Ability to prioritize and plan across simultaneous projects
  • Positive, “make it happen” attitude, motivated by results, and ready to jump in from day 1
  • Ability to work events - nights and weekends
  • Bilingual (Spanish skills) is a plus

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000

In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Hollywood Park considers a candidate’s education, certification, prior experience, as well as internal and external data when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Only in exceptional circumstances, if an external candidate has the experience, credentials, or expertise far exceeding what is expected for the position, would Hollywood Park consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
