Position Overview:
The Integrated Marketing Specialist supports the development and implementation of university-wide marketing strategies, working closely with leadership, admissions, and external partners. This position is essential to the success of the university’s marketing efforts, with a focus on execution, accountability, and contributing to digital and CRM-related strategies. The Integrated Marketing Specialist plays an active role in enrollment growth initiatives and supports academic Program Chairs.
In addition, the role will assist in communications with external vendors in supporting marketing campaigns across various platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Support the daily marketing efforts of the university, including collaborating with external marketing vendors to optimize campaign performance.
- Take full accountability for the timely completion of assigned marketing projects and requests, tracking deliverables through a shared task document with the Director of Marketing & Communications.
- Manage email marketing campaigns, including scheduling, segmentation, testing, and performance analysis, in coordination with CRM systems and automation tools.
- Provide strategic recommendations for enhancing digital marketing strategies based on campaign performance, market trends, and industry insights.
- Coordinate updates to the university website by submitting and tracking changes with the webmaster to ensure deadlines are met.
- Respond to inquiries from external vendors and internal stakeholders promptly, setting clear expectations on timelines.
- Create, execute, and evaluate social media content and campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Monitor and report on industry and competitor trends, sharing relevant insights with the marketing and admissions teams.
- Assist in the development and preparation of marketing materials for meetings and presentations, including PowerPoint decks, brochures, and other collateral.
- Ensure all written communications, including emails and newsletters, are proofread and accurate prior to distribution.
- Collect and organize alumni testimonials for use in marketing campaigns.
- Produce monthly newsletters for students and alumni, ensuring content, links, and images are reviewed for quality and accuracy.
- Assist in CRM database management, including email nurture uploads, list segmentation, and performance reporting.
- Respond professionally and promptly to communications from university leadership.
- Support Admissions and Student Services teams with marketing-related requests.
- Recommend improvements to existing processes for efficiency and impact.
- Other duties assigned by the Director of Marketing & Communications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of marketing or administrative support experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field required.
- Corporate marketing or agency experience is a strong plus.
- Familiarity working with marketing data and interpreting campaign performance metrics to inform strategy and optimization.
- Experience with email marketing strategy and CRM platforms such as Sugar CRM, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and tools.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, especially in proofreading and data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads, and scheduling tools like Hootsuite or Constant Contact.
