Job Title: Shipping Office Assistant
Purpose:
To issue transport documents for all outgoing goods from the plant, ensuring compliance with Group procedures and maintaining accurate documentation for shipping and logistics activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Issue Transport & Travel Documents: Prepare and issue transport documents for all outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
- Document Filing: Maintain organized records of all transport and shipping documents.
- Sales Order Review: Interface with internal departments to address and resolve any discrepancies or issues noted on sales orders for goods to be delivered.
- Create Loading Lists: Prepare loading lists when possible, ensuring all relevant shipping details are included.
- Weigh Trucks: Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks when necessary to ensure proper documentation of weights.
- Verify Shipment Compliance: Ensure that the weight of the shipped product matches the value recorded in the system, and address any discrepancies.
- Report Issues: Report any issues, discrepancies, or concerns to the Manager for timely resolution.
- Promote Safety Culture: Foster and support a safety-oriented culture within the workplace, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.

- Cubic Meters of Shipment per Year: Monitor and report on the volume of goods shipped annually.

- Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift and carry packages and materials weighing over 50 pounds.
