Duties

- Ensure all ingredients are prepped, washed, and cut accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and salad options.
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of salads as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain quality and safety throughout the food preparation process.
Skills
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques, particularly in salad making.
- Experience as a dietary aide or within the food industry is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, including knives for precise cutting.
