What You’ll Do:
- Rapidly assess clients’ mental health, creating effective treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic techniques (like CBT and crisis intervention) to stabilize and support clients.
- Help individuals manage PTSD, trauma, and autism spectrum disorders.
- Coordinate with other professionals to ensure every client receives the best care possible.
- Collect and evaluate outcome data to continually improve treatment approaches.
- Provide de escalation stratergies to reduce the risk of hospitalization
- Provide face to face assessments while assisting the individual to help de-escalate their crisis, stabilize their emotional state, and create a personalized plan to support their immediate needs and overall well- being.
- Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor LPC, LMHP, LMHP-R, LCSW in [Virginia and be registered with the VA board of counseling].
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and documentation .
- Must have completed mobile crisis training.
**This position requires the LMHP to respond to mobile crisis and provide face to face assessments.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $200.00 per hour
