Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with 10 years of experience to join our team in Buffalo, NY. This is a full-time, onsite W2 position. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development and production support, ensuring seamless operation and troubleshooting of applications in a high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 production support for enterprise Java applications.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application performance and improvements.
- Work on incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies.
- Ensure adherence to best coding and security practices.
Required Skills:
- 10 years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices.
- Strong experience in production support and troubleshooting Java applications.
- Expertise in SQL, Oracle, and database management.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Cloud technologies (Azure preferred).
- Hands-on experience with logging & monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.).
- Experience with incident management & root cause analysis.
