Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced VDI Specialist to optimize the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and implement Outlook integration in a non-persistent desktop environment at Barksdale AFB. The role involves conducting assessments, implementing FSLogix, configuring Instant Clone desktop pools, and providing documentation and knowledge transfer.
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and optimize the existing VDI environment.
- Implement solutions for Outlook offline data file (.ost) management.
- Configure FSLogix and Instant Clone desktop pools.
- Deliver project reports, updated topology diagrams, and quick reference guides.
- Collaborate with government personnel and vendors.
- 5 years of VDI experience, including FSLogix and Instant Clone configuration.
- Familiarity with Outlook integration in non-persistent environments.
- Strong technical and documentation skills (Visio, IP schema design).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
